These treats are perfect for your next party.

This dessert is inspired by the iconic Girl Scout cookies.

It is a twist on the classic rice krispie treat!

This treat is an insane combination of flavors.

    Equipment Needed

All you need to make these samoa rice krispie treats is a bowl, spoon, baking sheet and a baking pan. I love Caraway’s baking pans because they are non-toxic, non-stick and they are also gorgeous. If you use code LESSWITHLAUR10 you get a discount on Caraway’s website!

    Ingredients Needed

Cereal: I used Seven Sundays Cocoa Crunch Little Crispies in this recipe! They give the base a chocolatey flavor and provide a delicious crunch!

Nut Butter: I used creamy almond butter in this recipe. This helps to bind these samoa rice krispie treats together!

Honey: Honey adds an extra touch of sweetness to this recipe!

Vanilla Extract: Vanilla adds an extra warmth and layer of flavor to this recipe.

Coconut Whipped Cream: This So Delicious Whipped Cream is my all time favorite. It’s dairy free and tastes amazing!

Chocolate: I used dairy free chocolate in this recipe because I am dairy free. Feel free to use any type of chocolate you love. You can use chocolate chips or melt a chocolate bar!

Coconut Flakes: I used toasted coconut flakes to top these samoa rice krispie treats! They add a delicious coconut flavor!

    Step By Step Instructions

    Step 1: Gather your ingredients.

Step 2: Combine cereal, almond butter, honey, vanilla extract and whipped cream in a bowl.

Step 3: Add batter to greased baking dish.

Step 4: Pour over melted chocolate and sprinkle toasted coconut on top.

Step 5: Freeze for 1 hour or overnight and cut into squares. Enjoy!

    Storage

Store these samoa rice krispie treats in the freezer for up to 3 months.

    Variations

Cereal: I used cocoa crispies, but you can use a different cereal if you would like! Try out rice cereal or another flavor of cereal!

Nut butter: I used almond butter, but you can also use pecan butter, sunflower seed butter or peanut butter.

Whipped Cream: I used coconut whipped cream, but you can also use regular whipped cream!

Chocolate: You can use chocolate chips or a chocolate bar! You can also try out white chocolate.

Toppings: I topped mine with coconut flakes but you can get creative with toppings as well! Try adding caramel, chopped nuts or sea salt!

    How to Serve

    • Platters:
      • Arrange the treats on a serving platter for easy access. This is ideal for buffets or informal get-togethers.
      • You can add other complementary treats to the platter, like other types of cookies or chocolates.
    • Dessert Plates:
      • For a more elegant presentation, place individual treats on dessert plates.
      • You can drizzle extra chocolate or caramel sauce around the plate for a decorative touch.
    • With Ice Cream:
      • Serve a Samoa Rice Krispie treat alongside a scoop of vanilla or coconut ice cream. The contrast of warm and cold is delicious.
    • Coffee or Tea:
      • These treats pair perfectly with a cup of coffee or tea. The richness of the treat complements the warmth of the beverage.
    • Layered Desserts:
      • Crumbled samoa rice krispies can be used as a layer in parfaits, or other layered desserts.
