- 8 strawberries
- 1 oz white chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 3 oz dark chocolate chips
Gather your ingredients.
Wash and pat the strawberries dry. Make sure they are thoroughly dried before dipping.
Melt dark chocolate and coconut oil in a bowl.
Dip each strawberry in the chocolate holding the stem or using a toothpick or skewer.
Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Let them harden at room temperature for about 30 minutes or chill them in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes for faster setting.
Melt the white chocolate in a bowl and transfer it to a small ziplock bag. Snip off a tiny corner and create a piping bag. Draw on football laces. Serve and enjoy!
LACING TIPS:
Melt your white chocolate and transfer it to a small ziploc bag. Snip off a teeny corner with scissors to create a makeshift piping bag. This gives you more control than a pastry bag for fine lines.
Rest your piping hand on a stable surface or even a skewer held across the strawberry for extra support. Take deep breaths and move slowly for clean lines.
Start with a straight lines from the top to the bottom of the strawberry. Add shorter lines down the middle. Don't worry about making them perfectly even, real laces aren't!
