Dilly Bar (Dairy Free)

The perfect little sweet, frozen treat, this Dilly Bar recipe screams of nostalgia. I love the creamy, protein packed "soft serve" center and the delicious chocolate and coconut coating. Made in minutes and with simple ingredients that are also refined sugar and gluten free, these vegan frozen bites are a great make ahead dessert.

Equipment

  • 1 baking sheet
  • 1 parchment sheet
  • 6 popsicle sticks

Ingredients

  • 2 cups dairy free yogurt
  • 2 tbsp vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate candies
  • 1 tsp vanilla

For the shell

  • 1 1/2 cups dairy free chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil optional

Instructions

  • Gather your ingredients.
  • Combine ingredients for the filling in a bowl.
  • Scoop filling into large circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Press popsicle sticks into yogurt circles.
  • Freeze until hardened.
  • Melt chocolate and coconut oil in a small bowl. Drizzle chocolate over yogurt pops until fully covered and freeze again until hardened. Enjoy!
