Gluten Free Apple Cider Donuts

These tender, gluten free apple cider donuts are perfect for fall. They are rich, flavorful and have the most perfect cinnamon sugar coating! Inspired by the delicious treats you often find at apple orchards, these donuts are a delightful gluten free alternative. Donuts

  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/8 cup applesauce
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups gluten free flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • dash salt

Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil

Instructions

  • Gather your ingredients and preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Reduce apple cider by bringing it to a simmer and letting it cook for approximately 10 minutes. Let cool.
  • Add all wet ingredients to a bowl.
  • Stir in dry ingredients.
  • Add batter to greased donut pan and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • While donuts are baking, make cinnamon sugar mixture. Roll donuts in mixture and enjoy!
