    Equipment Needed

All you need to make these gluten free apple cider donuts is a donut mold, bowl, mixing spoon and measuring cups and spoons.

    Ingredients Needed

Apple Cider: Apple cider gives these donuts their delicious apple flavor! I reduced the apple cider in this recipe to make the flavor even stronger.

Applesauce: Applesauce helps add moisture to these donuts and also helps act as a binder.

Oil: I used avocado oil in this recipe because it has a neutral flavor.

Vanilla Extract: I love the flavor that vanilla extract adds to baked goods.

Sugar: I used coconut sugar in these gluten free apple cider donuts because it has a lower glycemic index. Feel free to use regular sugar! I used sugar in the donuts and for the cinnamon sugar coating.

Gluten Free Flour: My favorite gluten free flour is Bob's Red Mill Paleo Flour, but any 1:1 gluten free flour should work here!

Baking Soda: Baking soda helps make these donuts light and fluffy.

Baking Powder: Baking powder helps these donuts rise!

Cinnamon: Cinnamon gives these donuts a delicious flavor! I used cinnamon in both the donuts and also the cinnamon sugar topping!

Salt: My favorite is Redmond's Real Salt because it is high-quality and made with zero fillers. If you use my discount code LESSWITHLAUR you can get 15% off Redmond's website.
