Gluten-Free French Onion Green Bean Casserole (Dairy-Free)
This gluten-free French onion green bean casserole takes the boring side dish to a whole new level. I'm going to be so honest, I was never a fan of green bean casserole and I am a huge mushroom hater. So I made a version that is bursting with French onion flavor, topped with crispy fried onions and uses simple ingredients. Dare I say this side has the potential to be the star of your Thanksgiving meal? This dish is gluten-free, dairy-free optional, doesn't use any canned soup and is super easy to make. I am genuinely excited to make this gluten-free green bean casserole for Thanksgiving this year. (Something I never thought I would say)!

- 2/3 cup broth
- 3/4 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 cup coconut aminos
- 1 tbsp arrowroot powder
- 12 oz green beans
Preheat oven to 350°F and chop your onions and garlic.
Add garlic and onion to a pan and saute over low to medium heat until lightly browned.

Recipe Tips:
- Make your own crispy onions by chopping half of an onion into half moons. Dip in coconut milk and then a mixture of 1/8 cup almond flour and 1/8 cup arrowroot powder and fry in a pan until browned.
- Use fresh green beans if possible!
- Let the dish rest for a few minutes after baking so the sauce thickens up.
