    Why You’ll Love This Recipe

It’s so easy and quick to make!

This chocolate strawberry bark is a great last minute treat.

It’s perfect for Valentine’s Day or Galentine’s Day.

You only need 4 ingredients to make it!

This dessert is gluten free, dairy free and nut free!

    It’s perfectly sweet and salty.

    This treat is also kid-friendly!

    Equipment Needed

All you need to make this chocolate strawberry bark is a baking sheet, parchment paper, a bowl and a spoon.

    Ingredients Needed

Strawberries: Strawberries make up the refreshing base of this bark!

Sunflower Butter: I used sunflower butter instead of peanut butter in my chocolate strawberry bark to make it allergy-friendly!

Chocolate: I used dairy free chocolate in this recipe to make it allergy-friendly. It hardens to create the “bark” structure, holding the strawberry flavor and flaky sea salt together.

Sea Salt: I topped my bark with flaky sea salt to give it a sweet and salty flavor!

    Step By Step Instructions

    Step 1: Gather your ingredients.

Step 2: Lay your strawberries out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a rectangle.

Step 3: Spread sunflower butter over the top of the strawberries.

Step 4: Melt chocolate and drizzle on top of sunflower butter.

Step 5: Add flaky sea salt and freeze bark until hardened.

Step 6: Break bark into pieces and enjoy!

    Storage

Store this chocolate strawberry bark in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months. This treat is great to meal prep to always have on hand!

    Variations

Fruit: I used strawberries in this recipe, but you can try another fruit if you prefer! I think this would taste great with bananas, blueberries, oranges or kiwi as well!

Sunflower Seed Butter: I used sunflower seed butter to make this recipe allergy-friendly, you can also use peanut butter, almond butter, pumpkin seed butter or macadamia nut butter!

Chocolate: I used dairy free chocolate to make this recipe dairy free, feel free to use regular chocolate or white chocolate also!

Toppings: I topped my bark with flaky sea salt. Try out other toppings like chopped nuts, sprinkles, coconut flakes or marshmallows.

    How to Serve

Chocolate strawberry bark is incredibly versatile when it comes to serving! Here are some ideas:

    • Straight from the freezer/fridge: This is the most common and easiest way. Break it into irregular pieces and enjoy the satisfying snap.
    • On a platter: Arrange the bark pieces artfully on a platter for a pretty dessert presentation. This is great for parties or gatherings.
    • In a gift box or bag: Package the bark in a nice box or bag for a homemade gift. It’s perfect for holidays, birthdays or just because.
    • With other treats: Serve it alongside other desserts like cookies, ice cream or fruit for a more elaborate dessert spread.
    • As a topping: Crumble the bark and use it as a topping for ice cream, yogurt or even cakes.
    • With coffee or tea: The sweet and salty flavors of the bark pair wonderfully with a warm beverage.
    • As an after-dinner treat: A small piece of bark is a perfect way to end a meal.
