I know what it’s like to have to eat gluten-free and dairy-free and I wholeheartedly believe that it does not mean missing out on fun brunch food! That is exactly why I created these insanely delicious and crispy gluten-free and dairy-free air fryer sausage hash brown bites! If you know me, you know I am absolutely obsessed with all things potatoes. I have been focusing on adding extra protein into my meals, so I decided to combine my favorite sausages with potato to make these crispy bites! Using the air fryer to cook these sausage hash brown bites makes the process super quick and easy.

Equipment Needed

In order to make these gluten-free and dairy-free air fryer sausage hash brown bites you will need an air fryer, a mixing bowl, cutting board, knife, peeler and grater. I have linked my favorite air fryer here.

Ingredients Needed to Make These Crispy Sausage Hash Brown Bites

Potatoes: My favorite potatoes to use in this recipe are Yukon gold, but you can use any kind you prefer! This recipe would also be delicious with sweet potatoes.

Gluten-Free Flour: You can use any gluten-free all-purpose flour here. I like to use this one by Bob’s Red Mill.

Onion: Sweet onions are my favorite onions to use always!

Sausage: I recommend using the Bilinski’s brand because they have amazing ingredients.

Avocado Oil: I love Chosen Foods brand because it is pure, naturally refined and delicious. I usually purchase all of my staples from Thrive Market. If you order from my link you will get 40% off your first order!

Garlic Powder: This adds some extra flavor! You can also use 1 clove of fresh garlic if you prefer.

How to Make These Crispy Sausage Hash Brown Bites

Combine all ingredients in a bowl.

Next, roll mixture into balls.

Place in air fryer for 10-12 minutes, or until crispy!

Finally, dip them in your favorite sauce and enjoy!

Substitutions and Variations

These crispy sausage hash brown bites are gluten-free, dairy-free and egg-free. This recipe can also be made nut-free if you use a nut-free flour. These would also be delicious with sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes!

Can this recipe be frozen?

Yes, you can definitely freeze them. I would recommend freezing them for up to 3 months and reheating them in the oven or using the air fryer.

Can this recipe be made ahead of time?

I recommend serving immediately for optimal flavor and texture!
