These Banana Bread Bites went viral on social media for a reason! Oh my gosh, they are so good. I put my own twist on them to make them allergy-friendly and refined sugar-free. They are so decadent, take about 5 minutes to throw together and you probably already have the ingredients on hand to make them!

I absolutely love banana bread, but sometimes I don't feel like making an entire loaf or don't have the time. These Banana Bread Bites are the perfect solution. They are basically bite-sized banana bread balls covered in chocolate and they kind of taste like banana bread cookie dough? They 100% satisfy my sweet tooth and make the perfect snack or dessert.
My version is gluten-free, dairy-free and refined sugar-free and you only need a handful of ingredients to make them. The hardest part about making them is waiting for them to firm up in the refrigerator! Pair them with a vanilla matcha latte for the best midday treat.

Tips & Tricks
The batter should be a doughy consistency. If it is too dry, add more nut or seed butter. If it is too wet, add more flour.
Make sure your banana is VERY ripe. It will taste the best this way.
This recipe is very forgiving and if you honestly cannot wait until they are 100% firm, that's ok. They will still taste great if you sneak one early!

Variations
Flour: I used almond flour and coconut flour in this recipe because that's what I had on hand. The original creator uses oat flour though!
Nut or seed butter: I used sunflower seed butter, but you can use any nut or seed butter you have on hand.
Sweetener: I skipped the sweetener and opted for a naturally sweetened option. I think they are sweet enough from the banana, but you can also add maple syrup or honey if you want them to be sweeter!
Chocolate: I used dairy-free dark chocolate, but you can also use white chocolate.
Protein powder: Feel free to add protein powder to these treats as well for more nutrients. I would recommend replacing 1/4 cup of the flour with vanilla protein powder.
Storage
Store these Banana Bread Bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. I promise they won't last that long though! You can also store them in the freezer for up to 3 months.
