They're so easy to whip up!

These will be your new favorite treat.

The layers are so decadent and delicious.

They are the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth!

    This recipe is so kid-friendly.

They are gluten free, dairy free, vegan and peanut free!

These are made with just a few ingredients!

    History of Snickers

This candy was born in Chicago! Mars, the candy company, invented the Snickers bar and named it after their favorite horse. Since Snickers are typically packed with dairy and peanuts, I wanted to create a delicious and healthier option!

    Equipment Needed

All you need to make these allergy-friendly banana snickers is a baking sheet, parchment paper, spoon, bowl and a knife.

    Ingredients Needed

Banana: Banana is the base of these delicious banana snickers!

Almond Butter: Almond butter creates a creamy and delicious layer on these banana snickers.

Date Caramel: I used my dairy free caramel in these banana snickers to add a delicious flavor!

Chocolate: I used dairy free melted chocolate on these treats!

Slivered Almonds: I swapped out peanuts for slivered almonds to make this dessert peanut free!

    Step-By-Step Instructions

    Step 1: Gather your ingredients.

Step 2: Slice your bananas in half and then again lengthwise.

Step 3: Spread almond butter on each piece of banana.

Step 4: Add caramel on top.

Step 5: Drizzle with melted chocolate.

Step 6: Add slivered almonds, freeze and enjoy!

    Storage

Store these banana snickers in the freezer for up to 3 months! They are best served cold.

    Variations

Fruit: If you do not like bananas or don't have them on hand, you can also use apples, pears or another fruit for this recipe!

Nut Butter: I used almond butter in this recipe! You can also use pecan butter, macadamia butter, sunflower butter or any other nut or seed butter!

Caramel: I used my dairy free caramel recipe for this, but you can also use store bought caramel.

Nuts: I used slivered almonds for these banana snickers! Feel free to use hazelnuts, macadamia nuts or any other nuts you love!

Chocolate: I used dairy free melted chocolate here. You can also use white chocolate.

Toppings: Try out a variety of toppings here! You can use sprinkles, coconut flakes, nuts or seeds, dried fruit, granola and more!
