    What Are Cookie Fries?

Cookie fries are a fun and delicious dessert that’s become quite popular. They are exactly what they sound like: cookies baked in the shape of French fries!

    Why You’ll Love This Treat

These cookie fries are so easy to make!

    They are sweet and delicious.

Cookie fries are fun to eat because they are made into a cute shape!

This recipe is easy to make allergy-friendly.

It is so fun to hop on the latest viral trends!

    They are perfectly dippable.

These cookie fries are great for a party or weeknight treat!

    Equipment Needed

All you need to make these cookie fries is a baking sheet and a crinkle cutter. I used this crinkle cutter from Amazon.

    Ingredients Needed

Cookie Dough: I used Sweet Loren’s cookie dough because it is allergy-friendly!

Milk: Milk is used for dipping and serving these cookie fries!

    Step By Step Instructions

    Step 1: Gather your ingredients.

Step 2: Preheat oven to temperature listed on cookie dough package.

Step 3: Roll out the dough and cut it into crinkle fry shapes.

Step 4: Place on greased baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes less than the package says. This is because we are making smaller cookies. Check on cookies and bake more if needed.

Step 5: Serve with milk or chocolate dipping sauce and enjoy!

How to Cut The Cookie Dough

Roll out the dough: Roll out your cookie dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.

Create the crinkle: To achieve the classic crinkle cut, you can use a crinkle cutter, which is a specialized tool designed for this purpose. If you don’t have one, you can try using a serrated knife and gently pressing down as you cut to create a crinkled effect.

    Storage

Store these cookie fries in an airtight container for 4-5 days.

    Variations

Cookie Dough: I used Sweet Loren’s cookie dough for this recipe because it is allergy-friendly. You can use any kind of cookie dough you love!

Dipping: I dipped my cookie fries in milk. You can also dip them in whipped cream, coffee, chocolate ganache, hot chocolate, nut butter or yogurt.

    How to Serve

Here are a few ideas on how to serve your cookie fries:

Fry Box: Serve your cookie fries in a classic French fry paper cone or box for a fun and nostalgic touch.

Plated Dessert: Arrange the cookie fries on a plate with a side of dipping sauce. You can add a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for extra indulgence.

Buffet: Set up a buffet with a variety of dipping sauces and let your guests help themselves.

Dessert Bar: Create a dessert bar with cookie fries as the main attraction. Offer a variety of toppings and sauces for guests to customize their own treats.

Mason Jar: Serve your cookie fries in a mason jar with layers of ice cream, hot fudge and whipped cream.

Keep Warm: If you’re serving your cookie fries at a party, keep them warm in a preheated oven or a warming tray.

Fresh Dipping Sauces: Serve your dipping sauces in small bowls or ramekins.

Presentation is Key: Use colorful plates, napkins and decorations to make your cookie fries look appealing.
