    Apple season is in full swing and these air fryer apples are the easiest sweet treat to make! They're cozy, cinnamon-glazed and the perfect dessert without all of the refined sugar. They are also a delicious addition to a sweet breakfast or a fun snack! They literally taste like apple pie filling. These air fryer apples are made with simple ingredients you probably already have at home! They are gluten free, vegan, dairy free and refined sugar-free. They are a game changer for apple season and fall!

    Imagine gooey, caramelized apples, coated in a warming cinnamon-glazed sauce. The best part is that this irresistible fall snack takes about 10 minutes to make! Whether you're using apples from your recent apple picking adventure or simply want to spice up a meal, these versatile treats are the perfect way to enjoy the naturally sweet flavor of apples!     The Best Type of Apples

    Personally, my favorite kind of apples are honey crisp I used honey crisp apples in this recipe. You can use any kind of apples you love, but I recommend using apples that are sweet, crisp and firm. Try using gala or fuji!

    Equipment Needed

    All you need to make these air fryer apples is a cutting board, knife, bowl and an air fryer. I have been loving my Our Place Air Fryer! It is so cute and it looks great on my counter top!

    Ingredients Needed

    Apples: I used honey crisp apples in this recipe because they are my favorite! The apples are the base of this recipe!

    Sugar: I used coconut sugar to make these apples refined sugar free. Feel free to use any type of sugar that you have on hand!

    Cinnamon: Cinnamon adds flavor and warmth to this recipe! It creates a comforting and cozy flavor.

    Oil: I used avocado oil here!

    Vanilla: Vanilla extract is optional here, but it adds a delicious warm flavor.

    Step-By-Step Instructions

    Step 1: Gather your ingredients.

    Step 2: Cut your apples into 1/2 inch pieces and add to a bowl.

    Step 3: Combine apples with sugar, cinnamon, oil and vanilla.

    Step 4: Air fry mixture at 400°F for 10-12 minutes. Enjoy!

    Storage

    These air fryer apples taste best when consumed right away, but you can also store them in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 3-4 days.

    Variations

    Fruit: I made this recipe with apples, but you can also try it out with another fruit. This recipe would be delicious with bananas, pears or peaches as well!

    Spices: I used cinnamon for this recipe. Feel free to add additional spices. Play around with pumpkin spice, nutmeg, allspice, ginger or clove!

    Oil: I used avocado oil in this recipe. You can also use coconut oil or another oil!

    Sugar: I used coconut sugar to keep this recipe refined sugar free. You can also use date sugar or regular sugar! You can also try replacing the sugar for honey or maple syrup instead.

    My favorite way to serve these air fryer apples is with a scoop of vanilla ice cream as a delicious fall dessert!

    Here are some other ways to serve them:

    Side Dish: Serve air fryer apples as a side dish to grilled meats or roasted chicken.

    Snack: Enjoy them as as part of a snack plate!

    Add Toppings: Feel free to also serve these air fryer apples with other toppings! Try adding chocolate chips, caramel, nut butter, whipped cream or yogurt!

    Breakfast: These apples can also be added to a delicious breakfast! They are delicious in a yogurt or oatmeal bowl or served on top of pancakes or waffles.
