    These gluten free croutons are the perfect crispy, crunchy and satisfying way to elevate your soups or salads. They are even great for snacking! I honestly can’t stop eating them. These homemade croutons are better than any store south version and they are the perfect topping for any dish!

    These croutons are made with simple ingredients and they are also dairy free and egg free! They have the best texture and flavor! Whether you prefer sourdough or another type of bread, this easy-to-follow recipe will deliver the perfect croutons every time! I love putting these on top of my gluten free French onion soup, buffalo chicken Caesar salad and tuna Caesar salad!

    All you need to make these gluten free croutons is a baking sheet.

    Ingredients Needed

    Gluten Free Bread: I used gluten free sourdough bread in this recipe. My favorite brand is Young Kobras because they used amazing ingredients. This bread is definitely pricey but I don’t eat bread very often!

    Spices/Herbs: I used garlic, salt, oregano, thyme and rosemary to give these croutons tons of flavor!

    Oil: I used avocado oil on these croutons.

    Step-By-Step Instructions

    Step 1: Gather your ingredients and preheat oven to 400°F.

    Step 2: Cut or rip bread into small squares.

    Step 3: Place on greased baking sheet and add herbs, salt and oil on top!

    Step 4: Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until crispy. Option to broil for 1-2 minutes at the end for extra crisp!

    Storage

    Store these gluten free croutons in an airtight container for 3-4 days.

    Variations

    Bread: Feel free to use any type of gluten free bread you love. I used sourdough!

    Spices: I used Italian spices on these gluten free croutons. Feel free to add additional flavors or switch up the flavors by using red pepper flakes or paprika.
