This delicious burger bowl is going to be your new favorite meal! A burger bowl is a deconstructed burger, served as a salad in a bowl, without the bun. This makes it a great option for anyone who is gluten or grain-free. A burger bowl is easy to make, versatile, and customizable, making it a great option for lunch or dinner! The topping options are also endless!

Ingredients Needed for This Delicious Burger Bowl

Ground Beef: One of the most important things when buying beef is making sure if is high-quality. Grass-fed and grass-finished is the best when it comes to beef. I love getting mine from Butcher Box because it is such a seamless process.

Toppings: The toppings pictured here are tomato, pickle, red onion and dairy-free cheese sauce. If you need a low histamine option you can use peppers, onions, pesto an even get fancy with an egg if you can tolerate it! The options are endless.

Lettuce: This is for the base of the bowl.

Sweet Potatoes: I love roasted sweet potatoes and they pair so well with the burger!

Garlic/Salt/Seasoning: This is to season the burger! I love using garlic and salt, but you can use any spices you choose

How to Make This Easy and Delicious Burger Bowl

Form ground beef into patties and season. Cook in a pan over medium heat until they reach desired doneness. You can also grill them if you would like! While the burgers are cooking, roast sweet potatoes in the oven for 30 minutes at 400 °F. Fill a bowl with lettuce, adding the burger and desired toppings. Enjoy!

    Substitutions and Variations

Feel free to swap out the homemade burgers for frozen burgers if you want to save time! You can also swap them out for turkey burgers.

    Storage

Feel free to store the burger patties for 3-4 days in the fridge. I recommend eating the burger bowls immediately after assembling for best taste!
