What Is the Paleo Diet?
The paleo diet, also known as the Paleolithic diet or caveman diet, is a way of eating that aims to mimic the diet of our hunter-gatherer ancestors from the Paleolithic era. While there’s no exact record of what they ate, the paleo diet generally focuses on whole, unprocessed foods believed to be similar to what was available during that time period.

Steak: I like to use high-quality meat whenever possible. My favorite place to get meat is ButcherBox because they have organic and high quality options and it gets delivered right to your door! You can also feel free to substitute with chicken or another meat, if desired.
Broccoli: I like using fresh broccoli best here, but you can also use frozen if that’s what you have on hand.
Onion: I used sweet onion for this dish, but any type of onion will work.
Salt/Seasoning: I used garlic powder, black pepper and salt in this recipe. My favorite salt is Redmond Real Salt. If you use my discount code LESSWITHLAUR you can get 15% off their website.
Coconut Aminos: Coconut aminos are an amazing substitute for soy sauce!
Rice: Serve this paleo beef and broccoli over rice, cauliflower rice or quinoa!
