    Why You’ll Love This Dessert

    It’s easy to make!

This dessert is super fun and can be served at parties or weddings.

It is easily made gluten free, dairy free, nut free and more.

    These are super kid-friendly!

They can be thrown together in under 30 minutes.

These are a fun twist on the classic!

This recipe is perfect for cookie lovers.

    Equipment Needed

All you need to make these milk and cookie shots is a baking sheet, a bowl and a spoon.

    Ingredients Needed

Cookie Dough: An amazing shortcut to make this recipe super quickly is using pre made cookie dough! You can use any flavor you love.

Chocolate: I used melted chocolate to coat the inside of the cookie shot.

Milk: The milk goes inside of these cookie shots and pairs so nicely with the cookies to make this classic combination!

    Step-By-Step Instructions

Step 1: Gather your ingredients and preheat oven to 325°F.

Step 2: If you have a mini muffin pan with shot glass-shaped molds, lightly grease the molds and press the cookie dough into them, forming a well in the center. If you don’t have molds, shape the dough into balls and use your thumb or the back of a spoon to gently press a well in the center of each ball, creating a shallow indentation. You can also use a regular muffin tin and make larger ones!

Step 3: Bake according to instructions on the package. Let cool.

Step 4: Melt chocolate and line the insides of the cookie cups.

    Step 5: Freeze until hardened.

Step 6: Pour milk in the glasses when you’re ready to serve. Enjoy!

    Storage

These cookie cups can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the refrigerator. I recommend waiting until you are about to consume them to pour the milk inside of them.

    How to Serve

Arrange the cookie cups on a platter or baking sheet. You can add a festive touch with cupcake liners or a sprinkle of powdered sugar.

Offer chilled milk in a pitcher or small carafe for people to fill their cookie cups. Consider flavored milk options like chocolate or strawberry for variety.

    Variations

Cookies: The cookie dough options are endless! Use store bought cookie dough for this recipe or homemade. Some flavor ideas are chocolate chip, salted caramel, double chocolate chip,

Chocolate: I used dark chocolate in my milk and cookie shots but you can also use milk chocolate or white chocolate!

Fillings: Offer different filling options besides milk! Consider chilled chocolate milk, coffee, milkshakes or even chilled fruit juices for a refreshing twist. If you are dairy free, use dairy free milk or chocolate milk.

Toppings: Try adding toppings like whipped cream, chocolate syrup, sprinkles, nuts or mini marshmallows!
