This cinnamon roll latte is one of my favorite coffee drinks to make at home. It tastes like a warm cinnamon roll in a mug. I have been a little obsessed with being an at home barista lately, mainly because I have so many food allergies and restrictions that it is just easier to make my lattes at home. Making coffee at home is also budget-friendly and honestly tastes way better. You can also be picky about the ingredients used, so the drinks aren't filled with tons of artificial flavors and colors. This latte comes together with homemade cinnamon roll syrup and cold brew to make a creamy and dreamy coffee.

    Why You'll Love This Latte

Cinnamon is one of the best flavors in my opinion and this latte is no exception. It's made with a delicious homemade cinnamon roll syrup that comes together so quickly. It's easy to make and you can store it in your fridge all week for cinnamon roll lattes on demand. It's even better than grabbing a coffee at your local cafe. This coffee is better than a Starbucks cinnamon dolce and made with better-for-you ingredients.

Plus, this drink is super adaptable. You can change up the milk and sweeten it to your preference. I love that you can also make it gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy-friendly as well. This latte can also be made hot or iced and tastes delicious either way!

    Ingredients You'll Need

    cinnamon roll latte syrup ingredients
    • Cinnamon sticks: Add a delicious flavor to this latte syrup.
    • Water: Makes up the base of the syrup.
    • Sugar: I love using coconut sugar in this recipe to keep it refined sugar-free. You can also use date sugar or cane sugar.
    • Sea salt: Adds balance.
    • Vanilla extract: Creates a warming flavor.
    • Almond milk: I love using almond milk in this recipe.
    • Cold brew: I used cold brew in this recipe but you can also use espresso.
    • Cold foam: Top with cold foam. I love making cold foam by mixing together milk and syrup with a handheld whisk.

    Recipe Variations

    • Iced: Make this latte iced by pouring the syrup over ice, add cold brew and top with cold foam or cold milk.
    • Milk: I love the way that vanilla almond milk tastes in this latte, but you can also use coconut, cashew, oat or regular milk. I used dairy-free milk because I'm dairy-free!
    • Sweetener: Swap the coconut sugar in the syrup for date sugar, maple syrup or regular sugar. Feel free to also add sugar to your latte if you prefer it sweeter.
    • Matcha: Use this cinnamon syrup to make a cinnamon roll matcha instead! Simply swap the coffee out for matcha.
    • Toppings: Add whipped cream or a cinnamon roll on top for garnish.
