    Equipment Needed

All you need to make this crockpot Christmas crack is a crockpot and a baking sheet!

    Ingredients Needed

Pecans: Crockpot Christmas crack is typically made with peanuts, however I have a peanut allergy, so I wanted to make an alternative recipe that anyone with peanut allergies can enjoy! Plus, pecans are super delicious and festive for the holiday season.

Dark Chocolate: Dark chocolate is used in this recipe to cover the pecans. I used dairy free dark chocolate because I’m dairy free.

White Chocolate: White chocolate combines with dark chocolate to create a delicious flavor. I used dairy free white chocolate here because I’m dairy free.

Sprinkles: This crockpot Christmas crack is topped with red and green sprinkles to add some extra festivity!

    Step-By-Step Instructions

    Step 1: Gather your ingredients.

Step 2: Add the pecans to the crockpot. Pour over dark chocolate and white chocolate. Turn the crockpot onto low heat.

Step 3: Stir the mixture after 30 minutes and continue to let it melt for another 30 minutes.

Step 4: Scoop the mixture into clumps onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Top with sprinkles and let harden.

    Storage

Store this crockpot Christmas crack in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. You can also freeze this candy for up to 3 months.

    Variations

This crockpot Christmas crack is easily adaptable!

Mix in chopped pretzels, toffee bits, dried cranberries or even popcorn for extra crunch and flavor.

Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili flakes for a kick.

Try experimenting with different nuts or even using a mixture of different types of nuts.

A sprinkle of flaky sea salt enhances the sweetness and adds a touch of sophistication.

Top your crack with crushed candy canes or chopped nuts for a Christmassy look.

    Pro Tips

Make sure your crockpot is set to low so that the candy doesn’t burn! Be sure not to overcook this crockpot Christmas crack.
