If you’re craving an energizing drink and you can’t decide between refreshing matcha or rich coffee- you need to try my dirty matcha latte! You all know I am a huge matcha lover, (my staple is this vanilla matcha latte) but I have recently added back reishi coffee and this is the perfect way to combine them. This unique beverage combines the best of both worlds in one delicious cup, blending of creamy matcha and a shot of reishi coffee. Not only is it easy to whip up at home in under 10 minutes, but it also packs a powerful antioxidant punch thanks to the magic of matcha and amazing benefits from the reishi. This drink is so fun and I am so excited for you to try it!

    Why You’ll Love This Drink

It’s a delicious blend of matcha and coffee.

This dirty matcha latte can be made at home in under 10 minutes.

    This drink is so gorgeous.

You only need a few ingredients to make it.

It’s a fun way to change up your mornings!

This drink packs so many amazing benefits.

It’s truly the best of both worlds!

    What Is a Dirty Matcha?

A dirty matcha is a trendy coffee drink that combines two favorites: matcha and espresso.

    What Is Mushroom Coffee?

It blends regular coffee grounds with extracts or ground medicinal mushrooms like reishi, chaga, lion’s mane, cordyceps and turkey tail. The coffee taste usually dominates, and some people don’t even notice the mushrooms. This coffee may have various benefits including reduced inflammation, a stronger immune system, better sleep and even improved focus.

    Why Is Matcha Beneficial?

Matcha is brimming with antioxidants, particularly catechins. These antioxidants help fight free radicals, unstable molecules that damage cells and contribute to chronic diseases. Matcha contains caffeine and L-theanine, an amino acid that promotes relaxation. This combination may provide a calmer focus and alertness compared to just caffeine alone.

Step 5: Pour milk over coffee.

Step 6: Add matcha on top and enjoy!

    Storage

You can store this dirty matcha latte in the fridge if needed, but it definitely tastes better fresh!

    Variations

Milk: Try experimenting with different milks! You can use any kind of milk here. I like to use hazelnut, almond and coconut milk. You can also use regular milk.

Sweetener: Feel free to add sweetener! Honey, coconut sugar or maple syrup would add some sweetness to this dirty matcha latte.

Flavor: If you are looking for some extra flavor, try adding cinnamon, mint extract or vanilla extract!
