Craving gluten free buffalo wings and can't find a lot of restaurants that make them? I know the struggle. Many restaurants don't have a gluten free option, especially if they do not have a dedicated gluten free fryer, so making them at home can be a great option. These are also naturally dairy free as well! Gear up for football season with these delicious and crispy gluten free buffalo wings! These make for the best appetizer for the ultimate game-day snack or can be paired with a salad or vegetables for a meal all-year-round. Crafted from all-natural ingredients, these family-friendly treats are bursting with flavor. Since you are making them at home, you can also control the oil you are using. I made my gluten free buffalo wings in the air fryer, but I have provided instructions for cooking them in the oven or in a skillet as well. Bring these to your next party or tailgate for a safe option without compromising any of the flavor!

    Equipment Needed

If you are using the air fryer, you will need an air fryer, bowl and spoon for this recipe.

If you are making oven-baked buffalo wings, you will need a baking sheet, wire rack, bowl and spoon for this recipe. You will also need parchment paper or tinfoil for easier clean up!

If you are making buffalo wings in a skillet, you will need a skillet, bowl and spoon for this recipe.

    Ingredients Needed:

Chicken Wings: I try to purchase high-quality meat whenever I can. My favorite place to get my meat is ButcherBox because they have organic and high-quality options and it gets delivered right to your door!

Buffalo Sauce: My favorite buffalo sauce in the world is Primal Kitchen. You can order it from their website for 15% with my code LESSWITHLAUR. I also love ordering staples like this from Thrive Market because they have great prices and they deliver right to your doorstep. If you use my link, you can get 40% off your first order.

Garlic Powder: This adds a delicious garlicky flavor to the chicken wings!

Salt: My favorite salt is Redmond's Real Salt because it is high-quality and made with zero fillers. If you use my discount code LESSWITHLAUR you can get 15% off their website.

Avocado Oil: I like to opt for avocado oil because other oils (like canola oil) tend to upset my stomach!

Baking Powder: If you are baking your wings in the oven, try using baking powder to make them extra crispy!

How To Make Gluten Free Buffalo Wings in The Air Fryer

Step 1: Start by patting your chicken wings dry with paper towel. This will help the wings get crispy because it reduces the amount of moisture.

Step 2: Place chicken wings in a bowl.

Step 3: Add buffalo sauce, garlic powder, avocado oil and salt and stir until chicken is evenly coated.

Step 4: Preheat air fryer to 400ºF. Air fry wings for 10 min per side, or until done.

Step 5: Pair with your favorite dipping sauce or pour extra sauce on top and enjoy!

Step 4: Add buffalo sauce, garlic powder, avocado oil and salt and stir until chicken is evenly coated.

Step 5: Coat in baking powder. This helps to brown the wings in the oven!

Step 6: Place the wire rack on top of a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or tinfoil.

Step 7: Place wings on the wire rack and bake for 45 minutes or until crispy.

Step 7: Pair with your favorite dipping sauce or pour extra sauce on top and enjoy!

Yes, this recipe is dairy free as long as you are using a dairy free buffalo sauce!
