Enjoy the comforting flavors of fall in every bite with savory sausage and seasonal produce. Whether you’re meal prepping for the week or just need dinner on the table fast, this recipe is a winner. When you don’t know what to make or want to switch it up, this throw together meal is always a crowd-pleaser. Plus, the leftovers make for a great warm and cozy lunch the next day. The best part is the honey mustard sauce, which leaves every bite bursting with flavor! If you love one pan recipes, you will also love my buffalo chicken thighs, greek lemon chicken and potatoes and one pan lemon chicken gnocchi!

    Why You’ll Love This Meal

It’s so easy to throw together!

This recipe uses simple and wholesome ingredients.

It is easily made gluten free and dairy free.

This chicken apple sausage sheet pan dinner makes a great easy dinner or works perfectly for meal prep or leftovers!

    It is kid-friendly!

The homemade sauce is easy to whip up and so delicious!

It’s made on one pan for minimal clean up!

    Equipment Needed

All you need to make this chicken apple sausage sheet pan dinner is a cutting board, knife and a sheet pan. I used my Our Place Pan. It is large, non-toxic and has handles, which I love!

    Ingredients Needed

Brussels Sprouts: Brussels sprouts are a versatile vegetable that can add a delicious, nutty flavor to your fall sheet pan meals!

Sausage: I used Bilinski’s chicken apple sausage for this sheet pan!

Carrots: Carrots add a sweet and savory flavor to this chicken apple sausage sheet pan dinner.

Red Onion: Red onion contributes a tangy flavor to this sheet pan dinner!

Sweet Potato: Sweet potatoes are a great seasonal addition to this meal. They add sweetness and heartiness to this recipe.

Honey Mustard: I love the flavor that honey mustard gives this sheet pan. You can use a store-bought honey mustard sauce or make your own, like I did for this recipe by combining honey, dijon mustard and oil!

Garlic Powder: Garlic powder adds flavor to this sheet pan!

Salt: My favorite salt is Redmond’s Real Salt because it is high-quality and made with zero fillers. If you use my discount code LESSWITHLAUR you can get 15% off Redmond’s website.

    Step-By-Step Instructions

Step 1: Gather your ingredients. Preheat oven to 400°F.

Step 2: Chop sausages and vegetables.

Step 3: Combine ingredients needed for honey mustard sauce (if using a store-bought sauce you can skip this step).

Step 4: Add vegetables and sausage to sheet pan and drizzle with sauce, garlic powder and salt.

Step 5: Bake for 35-40 minutes or until browned and crispy. Enjoy!

    Storage

Store this chicken apple sausage sheet pan dinner in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 4-5 days. This recipe makes a great meal prep!

    Variations

Meat: I used chicken apple sausages, but you can use any kind of sausage you like!

Vegetables: I used sweet potatoes, carrots, red onion and Brussels sprouts for this sheet pan. Feel free to mix it up and try out other vegetables like delicata squash, apples, pears, mushrooms or green beans!

Sauce: I used a homemade honey mustard sauce, but feel free to also use a store-bought version. Other sauces that would taste delicious on this sheet pan are BBQ sauce, maple glaze or an herby sauce!

Spices: I used garlic powder on this sheet pan, but feel free to add additional spices for more flavor! Try out red pepper flakes, paprika, onion power or Italian seasoning!
