Mine was a tie between the cheese and crackers and the pizza lunchables. I also would beg my parents to get me those gross looking chocolate pizza lunchables. I was obsessed with them.

    Anyways, my lunchable days are long gone because of my food allergies and also realizing that they did not have the most wholesome ingredients. Instead, I like to make these DIY lunchables! They are perfect for school days, road trips or on-the-go adventures! If you are looking for quick snack option, these nostalgic boxes are going to be your new go-tos! They will please even the pickiest of eaters and are even great for adults! Get creative with different protein sources, cheeses, fruits, vegetables and crackers. Involve your kids in the process. The best part is that they can be whipped up in about 10 minutes!

    Ingredients Needed

    Crackers: I used gluten free crackers in this recipe because I am gluten free! You can use any type of crackers you love!

    Cheese: I used dairy free cheese in these DIY lunchables because I am dairy free. Feel free to use any kind of cheese you love.

    Meat: I like to use organic salami in my DIY lunchables. Feel free to get creative and use meat sticks, turkey slices or any other meat.

    Fruit: I added grapes to this lunchable, but feel free to try any kind of fruit!

    Step 1: Gather your ingredients.

    Step 2: Place each ingredient in a compartment in your bento box. Enjoy!

    Fruit: I used grapes in this box but you can use any type of fruit you love. Try adding apple slices, peach slices, blueberries or clementines!

    Vegetables: Try swapping out the fruit and add a vegetable instead! I love adding carrots, broccoli, cucumbers or bell pepper!

    Dessert: Add a little sweet treat into your DIY lunchables like dark chocolate!

    Get creative: Get creative with different types of lunchables! Try adding marinara and cheese to make pizza style lunchables!
