    Equipment Needed

All you need to make these honey garlic meatballs is a baking sheet, pan, bowl and measuring cups and spoons.

    Ingredients Needed

Ground Beef: I used ButcherBox ground beef in this recipe! I love ButcherBox because it is high-quality and gets delivered right to your doorstep.

Spices: I used thyme and garlic powder in these meatballs. These create a delicious flavor combination.

Flour: I used coconut flour in this recipe to keep these meatballs gluten free. Feel free to also use breadcrumbs (gluten free if needed).

Oil: I used avocado oil in this recipe to make the meatballs juicy.

Salt: My favorite is Redmond’s Real Salt because it is high-quality and made with zero fillers. If you use my discount code LESSWITHLAUR you can get 15% off Redmond’s website.

Coconut Aminos: I used coconut aminos in the sauce because I love the flavor. It is a delicious sweet and savory sauce. You can also use soy sauce here.

Honey: Honey makes this sauce delicious and sweet!

Garlic: I used fresh garlic in this recipe. If you don’t have any fresh garlic on hand feel free to use garlic powder.

    Step-By-Step Instructions

Step 1: Gather your ingredients. Preheat oven to 400°F.

Step 2: Combine ingredients for meatballs in a bowl.

Step 3: Roll into 1 in balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Step 4: Bake for 25 minutes or until done.

Step 5: While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce by combining ingredients in a pan and heating over low-medium heat.

    Storage

Store these honey garlic meatballs in an airtight container for 3-5 days. You can also freeze these meatballs for up to 3 months.

    How to Serve

There are so many ways to serve these meatballs:

Serve your meatballs over a bed of rice with vegetables.

Dress up a sandwich with meatballs and your favorite toppings to make a hearty and satisfying meal.

Serve bite-sized meatballs with toothpicks for dipping in extra sauce. Perfect for potlucks or parties.

Thread cooked meatballs with cherry tomatoes, bell peppers and red onion chunks for a colorful and flavorful appetizer skewer. Serve with a dipping sauce like BBQ sauce or ranch dressing.

Use lettuce leaves as wraps, fill them with chopped meatballs, your favorite Asian-inspired slaw and a sweet and sour dressing.

Hollow out bell peppers or tomatoes, stuff them with a mixture of cooked meatballs, rice, and cheese, then bake until heated through.

    Variations

Meat: Try using a different meat in these honey garlic meatballs. Experiment with ground chicken or ground turkey! You can also use pre-made meatballs in this recipe to make it quicker!

Binder: Swap out the flour for breadcrumbs!

Honey: If you do not have honey on hand, feel free to use maple syrup or agave. You can also use coconut sugar.
