This Frose Recipe is the perfect frozen rosé cocktail to sip on this summer. It's basically an easy, adult slushie that is my new go-to for summer entertaining. Made with just three ingredients, it's a delicious summer beverage that's so easy to whip up! Think frozen fruit like ripe strawberries and your favorite bottle of dry rosé wine for a bold, full-bodied and smooth frozen cocktail that blends up in minutes. You can also make a version with mixed berries or use fresh strawberries and ice instead. Once your rosé is frozen, you can blend up your cocktail in just 10 minutes, or less. This simple recipe is great at a poolside party, a summer barbecue or at happy hour!

Whether you're into frozen wine, rosé wine slushing or playing around with a new spin on your favorite cocktail, this is the frozen rosé recipe you'll come back to all season long. Why You'll Love This Recipe

I love the soothing and antibacterial properties of the Manuka honey.

This summertime bev is icy cold, fruity and incredibly refreshing. It's perfect for hot days and poolside sipping!

I love the bright, vibrant strawberry flavor in this Frose Recipe. It's naturally sweet too, which I love.

It's kind of an upgrade on good old rosé. If you love rosé in general, try this for a festive kind of drink without any effort.

Guys, this recipe is popular with friends for brunch, BBQs, a girl's night or any warm weather event.

I like that I can customize the level of sweetness in this recipe by dialing the amount of honey I add, up or down.

I'm in love with the beautiful pinky red color of this easy frosé recipe and its subtly sweet, refreshing taste.

    Equipment Needed

All I needed for this Frose Recipe was a blender and 2 ice cube trays. That's it! If you're using fresh strawberries, you'll need a knife and a cutting board to prep them, too.

    Ingredients Needed

Rosé: You can go for a non-alcoholic if you prefer. Choose a good-quality rosé for the best flavor results. Go for a dark-colored rosé if you can.

Manuka honey: Manuka honey is a premium honey from New Zealand and Australia. I love using the Wedderspoon brand. It has high levels of methylglyoxal (MGO), which give it powerful antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Strawberries: Use fresh or frozen berries that are ruby red and perfectly ripe for the best flavor.

    Step By Step Instructions

    Step 1: Gather your ingredients.

Step 2: Carefully, pour rosé into the ice cube molds and freeze them overnight, or until they are set firm.

Step 3: Add the ice cubes to your blender together with the honey and fresh strawberries. Blend until smooth and then pour into glasses and add your garnishes.

    Storage

I store any leftover frose in a sealed container in the freezer for up to 1 week. Before serving again, I'll let it sit at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes to soften slightly, then stir or re-blend until smooth.

If it freezes too solid, add a little rosé or fruit juice to loosen it up.

    Variations

Swap out the berries: I'll sometimes use frozen raspberries, cherries or mixed berries instead of strawberries.

Lemony: A litlte freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice is SO good in this frose recipe.

Herbs: Add a few fresh basil or mint leaves. This just gives your Frose Recipe a little bit of a more grown-up feel.

Rosé swap: Instead of rosé, make this with white grape juicy or pink lemonade. A good non-alcoholic rosé is great for a more family friendly version.

Try with other fruit: You can blend in other fruits like frozen mango if you like. Try adding frozen lychees or pineapple. Watermelon is delicious too and freezes easily. I love the way it blends up.

    How To Serve

Here are some of my favorite ways to serve this frose recipe:

    • In a pretty glass with a slice of fresh strawberry and a mint leaf.
    • By the pool with a plate of fresh berries or wedges of watermelon!
    • Serve in a cold glass for the best drinking experience.
    • Try adding a topping of whipped coconut cream.
    • Serve this frose recipe by the pool or as a welcome drink at a summertime barbecue.
